Salsa dancing in Los Angeles, Pasadena, Glendale, Burbank & North Hollywood CA.
Sergio and Salud, founders of www.LatinDanceFashions.com (an online Latin dancewear store) and www.latindancepro.com, have been teaching, performing, and choreographing Salsa as a team in the county of Los Angeles since 2000.
Their authentic salsa style was influenced by what is often referred to as Los Angeles or LA Style Salsa. This exciting and sensual style of salsa is composed of flashy moves, multiple spins, and showy footwork that make heads turn. Sergio and Salud's approach to teaching stresses the social aspects of salsa; it emphasizes leading and following technique over choreography, which produces a smooth look and feel to partner dancing.
In their classes, Sergio and Salud teach everything from the basic salsa step to complex patterns and partnering techniques. They have won high praise for their teaching method; it simplifies complicated salsa patterns into easy to learn movements. This results in making their students learning experience a greatly enjoyable one. They are proud to serve the North Hollywood, Glendale, Pasadena, and Los Angeles, California areas for your convenience.
Home FAQsQ:
Can I Learn To Dance?
A: Yes! We have developed a curriculum that we guarantee will have you dancing in no time. It has proven to be successful not only in teaching people how to dance, but also in giving them the added confidence they need in just a few fun and easy lessons.
Q:
Do I Need A Partner?
A: No! Our classes are structured so that we rotate partners and everyone gets a chance to dance. We do encourage rotating in our classes. Dancing with different people allows you to become a better leader, follower, and dancer in general.
Q:
What Do I Wear To Class?
A: There is no specific dress code for our classes. We do suggest, however, that you wear something cool and comfortable. This is particularly important when it comes to shoes. It is important that you wear shoes with smooth soles versus rubber soles. For ladies, make sure you wear shoes that are flexible and provide good ankle support; flip-flops are difficult to dance in. We offer a wide selection of Latin dance wear and Latin dance shoes at our online Latin dance wear store www.LatinDanceFashions.com
Q:
How Do I Know What Level To Take?
A: Refer to the descriptions of each level on our Dance Classes Link of our website (www.latindancepro.com). If you're still not sure, you can ask one of the instructors and they'll be glad to help you out.
Q:
How Can I Learn To Dance Quickly?
A: The best way to learn how to dance quickly is by taking private lessons. For example, in one private lesson you would learn the equivalent of what you would learn in one of our group lesson series. In other words, you can learn in one hour what you would otherwise learn in a month by attending one month of our group lessons.
Q:
How Do I Schedule A Private Lesson?
A: If you're interested in taking private lessons, Simply call Sergio or approach him before or after class at any of his dance locations to set up a time and date for your lesson. info@latindancepro.com, (626)799.2347
Q:
How Do I Book You For An Event? What is The Charge?
A: If you are looking to spice up your event by including dance instruction, a performance, or even choreography and instruction for you to perform for your guests, Sergio and Salud are available for weddings, Quinceaneras, corporate events, private parties, clubs, films, dance exhibitions and house parties. The cost to you will depend on several factors, such as what type of event it is, the amount of people involved, how far the location is, the time length of Sergio and Salud's stay, etc., etc. If you plan to book Sergio and Salud for an event, please contact them well in advance, so as to ensure their availability and discuss the details.
Q:
What is the teaching location nearest to me?
A: If you live in the Los Feliz, Silverlake, Burbank, La Canada, La Crescenta, Sherman Oaks or West Hollywood areas, you're only a few minutes away from our studios in Glendale and North Hollywood. Our teaching locations in Pasadena are near to the cities of Alhambra, San Gabriel, San Marino, South Pasadena, Sierra Madre, Arcadia, Rosemead, and Monrovia.
